Alex Robson
Alex Robson joined the New York team at JonesTrading in January 2006.
His background in trading spans more than 10 years, beginning with equity sales positions at Sharpe Equity and Magna Securities. In 2000 he transitioned to TD Securities, the institutional trading arm of TDBFG, rising to Vice President and Director of Equity Sales Trading in New York, where his focus was on covering hedge funds.
Alex has a BA from Bethany College in 1992 and an MBA from West Virginia University in 1994.
Kevin Callahan
In December 2005, Kevin M. Callahan joined JonesTrading Institutional Services as Managing Director and National Sales Manager, based out of the New York office. He is a member of the Executive Committee with responsibility for heading up the firm’s strategic expansion. He was a consultant with JonesTrading for the year prior to joining the firm.
Kevin began his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Company where he worked in the Operations Effectiveness practice. Subsequently, he transitioned to the property and casualty business at MagnaCare, LLC, and later shifted to the software division of Opus360 Corporation where he grew the business from startup to IPO. He then formed a business consulting practice working with small to midsize entrepreneurial companies with highly focused market positions.
Kevin graduated in 1991 with a BA in history from Yale University, where he was a two-time All Ivy running back and member of the GTE Academic All-American team. He went on to earn a Master’s in international affairs and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is the author of The Management Playbook published by Inkwater Press in 2005 and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Brad Walsh
Brad Walsh joined the San Francisco-based team of JonesTrading in June 2005.
He came to the firm after a five-year equity trading stint at Jefferies & Co. He started in the business working for Dougall & Associates at the Midwest Stock Exchange in 1999, the same year he graduated from UCLA with a BA in political science.
