Overview
We are seeking an experienced agency European Equities Outsourced Trader to join our London-based trading team. The role involves executing equity orders on behalf of institutional clients including hedge funds, asset managers, and family offices. The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and operations teams to deliver high-quality execution, market insight, and seamless trade lifecycle management. This position requires knowledge of European equity markets, structure, liquidity, trading technology, and broker liquidity across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Execution & Market Intelligence
- Execute equity and ETF orders across global markets on behalf of institutional clients
- Manage high-touch and low-touch trading workflows across multiple venues and liquidity pools
- Optimize execution using algorithmic trading tools, dark pools, and broker liquidity
- Monitor real-time market developments, liquidity conditions, and corporate events
- Provide insight on market structure, trading costs, and venue selection
Client & Industry Interaction
- Serve as a primary trading contact for portfolio managers and investment teams
- Provide market color, liquidity feedback, and execution strategy recommendations
- Manage order flow and ensure accurate implementation of client trading instructions
- Network locally to help identify new prospective clients and cross sell the firm’s outsourced, prime brokerage and execution capabilities.

Trade Lifecycle Management

- Support regulatory reporting requirements and compliance policies
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- European equity trading with 7+ years of experience, preferably at a hedge fund, asset manager, broker, or outsourced trading platform
- Commercial mindset with strong client service orientation
- Familiarity with various OMS/EMS platforms
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced trading environment
- Strong attention to detail and risk awareness

Join JonesTrading as an Operations Specialist and take ownership of our institutional client onboarding experience. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to lead our onboarding process for DVP and Prime Services. As you support multiple business lines and navigate various clearing systems, you will find significant room for professional growth within our firm.
You won’t just be “processing paperwork” you will be the primary point of contact for transitioning clients to our platform. You will gain deep exposure to multiple clearing firms and complex workflows, making you a vital part of our daily operations. You will be the architect of the customer experience, managing everything from initial contact vetting and documentation to the technical transition onto our platforms. You will need to work across all levels of the firm to ensure the customer is successfully onboarded.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle onboarding for institutional clients, including KYC/documentation vetting.
- Manage systematic account setup and transition across multiple clearing firm platforms.

- Perform periodic documentation refreshes and provide ongoing client support.
- Collaborate with multiple business units to ensure operational efficiency.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Onboarding and trading support experience is required.
- Experience with KYC/AML specialized software.
- Series 7 or 99 are preferable but not required.
- Knowledge of the institutional settlement process.

Broker Dealer Compliance Officer

JonesTrading Institutional Services LLC, an institutional broker-dealer, is seeking a Compliance Specialist that will be responsible for broad-based compliance coverage supporting nearly all aspects of the firm’s businesses. The role will support our institutional trading and sales, equity research, investment banking, electronic trading, and prime services divisions with an emphasis on trade monitoring and surveillance and CAT reporting. Additional responsibilities may include providing compliance support to the Company’s Canadian based subsidiary. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Firms compliance team in updating and developing internal policies and procedures for institutional trading.
- Manage the Firm’s Trade Monitoring & Surveillance

Qualifications

- Trade monitoring and surveillance experience
- CAT, CAIS and 606 Reporting experience
- Strong knowledge of securities industry rules and regulations
- Ability to work with Senior Management and make time sensitive decisions
- Strong knowledge of FINRA and Nasdaq systems including ACT Workstation, CAT, Gateway, TRACE and CRD
